Tomasina Smith is the founding practitioner of Charm’Ink, a boutique studio offering permanent and corrective cosmetics to residents of New York and New Jersey.
Born in the USA, she grew up in Switzerland. As a young adult, she moved to Paris, where she studied at "L'École De Maquillage de Christian Chauveau."
Tomasina returned to New York City and began a career as a makeup artist for high-fashion print, television and film. In a career spanning 30 years, the quality of her work and her professionalism earned her a devoted clientele that includes well-known film and television personalities.
Helping people realize their full beauty is personal for Tomasina. As a child, she felt the pain of strangers staring at a port wine stain birthmark that covered nearly half her face. Now she uses her skills with prosthetic and special effects makeup to transform lives through permanent and corrective cosmetic procedures.
Tomasina learned from the best, including Master Kler Rosenberg of Beauty Angels Academy and the prestigious Beau Institute, whose programs are approved by the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP).
Tomasina is an Associate Member of the American Academy of Micropigmentation, a Member of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals (SPCP) and a Journeyman Makeup Artist in IATSE Local 798. She is also fluent in French and English.
