About the Service

Dark Lip neutralization is a specialized treatment for those with cool or dark-toned lips in which we color correct and neutralize the darkness in lips. Melanin neutralization is a process. During the first lip color neutralization session, it is important to neutralize cool tones and lift the darkness of lips with the help of warm-based pigment and then work with red-based colors. Not every client is a candidate for this procedure, but for many, it is a life-changing experience. This specialized cosmetic tattoo treatment lightens and neutralizes dark areas on the lips, giving them a more even appearance. Several sessions may be required to achieve the desired effect, but once we have achieved the desired level of lightness, we can then add the targeted color. Melanin neutralization is a process and not every client is a candidate for this procedure. Several sessions are mandatory in order to achieve desirable results. Once acceptable lightness is achieved then the targeted color can be added.  Price includes 20 minute consult by Charm’Ink®. Aftercare Instructions: At first, your lips will appear bigger, wider and darker and bolder than it will when it is fully healed. This is normal. The healing process can take from 8 to 12 weeks. You must be patient and allow the area to heal and peel before your final results are revealed.
